Shake hands with the Earth
Solartec company presented prizes (PV consumers and brick-boxes) to "Shake hands with the Earth", a knowledge contest, which took place in spring 2007 within the "Spring for the Earth" campaign held by the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic. The goal of the contest is to extend children’ knowledge about renewable energy sources. Helicopters for TEREZA
Solartec company presented 14 pieces of PV helicopters to TEREZA civil association for honoured schools in international project Eco-school. The project is intended for primary and secondary schools and its goal is to interconnect the environmental education with specific practical steps that lead to ecological education. TEREZA holds this event in under the auspices of the Senate of the Czech republic. The ceremonial international prize enunciation took place on 27th June 2006 in Valdstejn palace in Prague.
Cho Oyu Expedition
Solartec sponsored the Cho Oyu Expedition 2005. Our PV modules succeeded in extreme alpine conditions. The main criteria for selection of the contractor included the contractor’s reliability and experience.
Expedition Cosmos
Project "Expedition Cosmos" runs under the auspices of Academy of Science of Czech republic and is supported also by theMinistry of Education, Youth and Sports. As you may presume, SOLARTEC, supplying PV modules, was one of the main sponsors of this grand event.
