Solartec - sponsor of the successfuls

ATLANTIK FT Solartec is one of the mail sponsors of bronze yacht garrison. On Sunday 20th May 2007 results of double-garrison match Demi-Clé 2007 were festive declared in French Dournenez. Pleasant new is, that David Křížek and Milan Hájek crew on ship CZE 516 - ATLANTIK placed the brilliant third place and got the historical first medal for Czech republic in this extreme oceanic ship discipline.

Awards in Demi-Cle On Sunday 20th May 2007 results of double-garrison match Demi-Clé 2007 were festive declared in French Dournenez. Pleasant new is, that David Křížek and Milan Hájek crew on ship CZE 516 - ATLANTIK placed the brilliant third place and got the historical first medal for Czech republic in this extreme oceanic ship discipline. Also the second Czech garrison CZE 468 - CK FISCHER consisting of Daniel Vodička and Petr Sturc performed a great performance and after tactical finish reached 13th place.

Racing ship Atlantik FT Match started front Loriento in Brittany and there met 56 ships. 30 of them was sailboats of serial class, where started also both of our garrisons. David Křížek and Milan Hájek had a great start and first pivot point met at the first place. They still improved their position. After about 20 miles, in front of Belle Island and before another pivot point the wind has died away and front ships stood still. Backfield came near and some ships could get through the coast. David and Milan than, up the wind was able to down the jump of the competitors step by step and after 90 miles heading up the wind they reached the swing beacon by Ille de Sein at the third place. Here they took advantage of useful flow and successfully sailed on of the most dangerous place in Europe. The sea was very heavy here. The sea waves reached over 5 metres. The last heading was large and guided the field home in Douarnenez bay. At this moment the ATLANTIK FT crew could even improve their position, but they were not able to reach the first two ships.

David Křížek and Milan Hájek It means a great success for the ATLANTIK MINITRANSAT team. Competitors are going back to home now, after more than month and on the beginning of June they start another match in difficult navigating waters of Brittany. The top will be the double-garrison match called Minifastnet, which guides the competitors to Irish coast and back to Brittany. Important is, that David Křížek thanks to match finalization confirmed his qualification to legendary one-man match called Minitransat, which starts on 16th September in La Rochelle and after a short stay on Madeira Island he is continuing up to the finish in Bahia de Salvador in Brazil.
